Pacovis AG

herb butter system Pacovis

Pacovis has been producing boxed herb butter for various retailers for many years. A new packaging concept and flexibility in the number of packaged herb butters required investment in a new system.

Description

The existing packaging system was designed to process hinged blister packs with a fixed number of rosettes per box.

The new packaging concept with separate bottom tray and lid and different box sizes, i.e. different numbers of rosettes, could only be realised with a new system.

The system layout had to fit into the existing premises with limited space requirements.

Project details

The herb butter system is optimally integrated into the existing premises with limited space requirements and performs the following work steps:

  • Unstacking and feeding the bottom tray
  • Unstacking the catering trolley, feeding trays of herb butter to the workstation (1 or 2)
  • Manually loading the bottom tray with herb butter
  • Camera check: full quantity in the bottom tray
  • Unstacking the lid, feeding and closing the box
  • Checking the lid is fully closed
  • Attaching the wing label and folding down the first-opening flap
  • Affixing the base label
  • Camera check: base label present and first-opening flap present
  • Preparing boxes for the packaging gripper
  • Filling the box into secondary containers

Our concerns, wishes and ideas were understood right from the start and implemented as far as possible. For everything "impossible", alternatives and solutions were sought and found that were perfect for us. Together, we developed an optimal solution that we are 10% satisfied with.

Problems from the sub-supplier side were compensated for by a great deal of commitment and flexibility.

Communication was always very cooperative and on an equal footing.

For these reasons, we are convinced that we have found a competend an long-term partner in marti engineering ag, also for further projects.
